Unfortunately, the only soil tests that can be linked to the Yard Mastery app are those purchased through Yard Mastery. This means that if you have purchased a test from a different vendor/brand (ex. MySoil), or your state extension office we cannot input the information into the Yard Mastery app, and here's why:
The Yard Mastery app is designed to provide a general plan (based on Allyn's lawn plan) with soil temperatures plus your grass type and location.
When you complete a Yard Mastery soil test, and enable that feature in the app, it then uses our product offerings to generate custom programs based on the test results. We have our own database for the soil test results for Yard Mastery kits and our app pulls from that database to integrate our product recommendations based on those results.
While we would love to offer the ability to import a variety of soil test results into the app or have you manually add them yourselves, the developers have indicated that this data is not always calculated the same way that our test calculates results and the app would not reliably be able to determine the differences for us to accurately recommend products.
