So you did some #weeknightlawnwork, spraying and praying, and in your euphoria of lawn domination, you forgot to add your work to your app journal. A coupla-two-tree-days-layta you are entering your mow journal entry and realize you missed your entry for all that work you did. We’ve all been there!
Let’s get those applications added to your journal. To enter in a journal entry for a previous day, you will open the journal and click on the pencil to create a new entry. To edit the date you will click on the date at the top of the journal entry and a calendar will appear that you can use to select the day that you were in the lawn (example below). You will then create the entry as normal. Once the previous day's entry is created and you have selected "Done" in the top right corner, you will be directed back to the journal entries overview page. From there you can select the pencil again and create today's mow entry.
Some of you may be saying "Wait when I click on the pencil to add my previous journal entry, my entry for today keeps popping up." If you have already created your mowing journal entry for today, don't worry, we didn't forget about you folks. We can still get your other journal entry entered, it's just going to take an extra step or two.
First and foremost, you will want to copy any notes that you made for today so you don’t have to remember and retype. Once you have that copied, go ahead and delete it. Delete the title and the activities. You want a clean slate.
Now that we have a blank journal entry, we've come full circle and you are at the beginning of this how-to article. You will change the date of your entry and complete your journal entry for your previous lawn work. Once that journal entry is complete and you are back to the journal entries overview page, you will again select that pencil and recreate today's journal entry. This is where copying those notes comes in handy because you can just paste your notes back in there and add your title and your activities, then bam just like that, your journal entry for today is complete once again!
