St. Augustine and Zoysia lawns are susceptible to Large Patch and Zoysia Patch fungus, (aka Brown Patch, aka Rhizoctonia), in the fall and into the winter. With the transition from summer to fall weather, the disease becomes more prevalent and requires a fungicide to prevent it.
