Is it TOO HOT to Fertilize the Lawn?

If April showers bring May flowers, what does May bring, you might ask? The answer is sunshine and, with that, heat! As spring comes to an end and summer temps start rolling in, the most common fertilizer question we receive goes a little something like this: 

"Our outside temperatures are in the upper 90's. Can I still apply fertilizer in this heat, or will I burn the lawn?" 

The answer from our favorite lawn care nut, Allyn Hane, is, "You can still throw down, even on your hottest days!"
