Can I put Prodiamine pre-emergent on my new sod?

To avoid damage to your new sod, you don't want to apply Prodiamine to newly set sod until the sod has rooted and exposed edges have filled in. This time frame could be anywhere between 8-16 weeks depending on root and turf establishment speed. Once the sod is rooted, you can apply a post-emergent.
